Ever thinking how to make that old tired room look new and inviting? Don't have money to splurge on a new set of furniture or trendy accessories? No problem. Try this...
1. Move your existing furniture around, try to go for a new and unexpected arrangement.
2. Create a feeling of having something new by borrowing an accessory from another room and using it in a new way. My favorite way of sprucing up a room is taking an unused window curtain to drape it over an old chair or couch.
3. Rearrange your books on your bookcase, just make them appear different by putting them on their sides or add a knick-knacks in between them.
4. As a table runner use your scarf or shawl that you don't care to use anymore. On it, place a large decorative bowl of fruit.
5. Another example of being creative is to wrap a scarf around your old lamp shade.
